Shooting heavy metal starts, Morax is a one-man band from Norway, founded in 2023 by Remi A. Nygård. The sound is deeply rooted in the darker forces of the genre, drawing inspirations from bands such as Mercyful Fate, Satan, Black Sabbath and the likes. The debut album, “The Amulet”, has become an instant cult classic, garnering tremendous reviews and praise from fans and critics alike, with comparisons being drawn to early Ghost meets, The Devil’s Blood and a plethora of NWOBHM bands.
