Nifelheim has been a striking force in the metal underground since their inception 25 years ago. The Swedes led by the brothers Tyrant and Hellbutcher recorded their first demo “Unholy Death” in 1992 and since then unleashed old school black metal masterpieces like “Devil’s Force”, “Servants of Darknes”, “Envoy of Lucifer” and recently the highly acclaimed “SataNatas” EP. The band is widely regarded as one of the best live band the genre has to offer with their no holds barred, high-energy performances. The band is currently working on their next full-length album, aimed for a 2016 release.
